At the HPE Distribution Partner Conference 2019 in Munich, a fundraising activity for the Musana Ferry was started. With the engagement of around 430 participants, backpacks for the students of the Lake Bunyonyi Island Schools in Uganda were packed. The backpacks were filled with pencils, pens, eraser, sharpener, watercolours, crayons, solar calculators and solar lights. Additionally, the participants of the conference added a personal message to the students in Uganda. Beginning of February, the backpacks were handed out to the students in a joyful ceremony with the common theme: These backpacks are not just a gift, they are a commitment to go to school and get a degree.
